Myths
EFCA's Church
Planting Boot Camp helped us dispel myths like:
We
already have enough churches.
Our
team learned that 70% of the people in the United States have no
meaningful church relationship. One church cannot reach everyone.
WE'RE not big enough to plant a church.
We
believe the size of the vision is more important than the size of the
church. God will provide the resources.
Planting will hinder our fellowshiP.
While
it is painful for a family to leave to plant a church, we are reminded
that those who preceded us faithfully reproduced their churches.

Dissatisfied
people plant churcHes.
Church
planting is a natural outflow of our response to the greatness of God and
ministry with the Evangelical Free Church of America.
Planting
a church costs too much.
Granted,
starting a new church requires resources of time, people, energy, and
funds. But we are convinced that planting new churches is the most
cost-effective means of evangelism.
