Vision
Our purpose
statement is to glorify God by making disciples of all people. Our vision
is to launch an intercultural church planting movement in Saint Paul,
Minnesota, by planting at least one intercultural church in each of our
city's eight legislative districts.
The
EFCA has a historical commitment to church planting. Evangelism and church
planting in
America
and overseas has always been a passion of the Evangelical Free Church. The
EFCA has grown to 1300 churches in 21 districts where church planting is a
strong focus.
Saint Paul
,
Minnesota
is located in the North
Central District.
Since
1887, our association’s passion for global missions has resulted in 600
missionaries planting churches in 45 countries around the world, all with
one message.
|
Our
vision is to continue the EFCA’s historical emphasis on church
planting by honoring the past and building for the future, and my making
disciples of all nations.
Our
strategy to attain these goals are in partnership with Payne Avenue
Evangelical Free Church, the North Central District and Urban
Intercultural Mission policies and procedures. Their resources and
expertise help us make good front-end choices. They coach us on timing
and targeting our community, train us for breaking reproduction
barriers, and partner with us in funding.
